Evidence-Based Nutrition Consultation

Food & Peace offers evidence-based nutrition consultation for people who want to understand nutrition evidence and apply it to real meals.

The focus is practical dietary strategy, especially anti-inflammatory nutrition, gut health, metabolic health, weight management, and long-term eating patterns that can realistically be maintained and improved over time.

My consultation approach is informed by academic nutrition research and by experience from more than 1,400 online nutrition consultation sessions.

Who This Is For

This service is suitable for people who want to actively improve their health through the latest nutrition research and an evidence-based approach to diet and nutrition.

From my past consulting experience, people who are genuinely willing to make thoughtful changes to their everyday dietary pattern are often more likely to see improvements across different health concerns. By contrast, if someone is mainly looking for a list of supplements, but is not willing to change the foundations of their diet, the effect is usually short-lived and limited.

Nutrients and supplements can be helpful in some situations, but they cannot replace the adjustment of the overall dietary pattern. Sometimes, a short-term improvement from supplements may simply reflect relief of surface symptoms, without addressing the underlying dietary, metabolic, and inflammatory issues that may be involved. Therefore, my consultation does not simply provide supplement recommendations. Instead, it aims to help you understand the dietary logic behind the problem and build a more sustainable dietary strategy. Supplement advice, where relevant, is only supportive.

My consultation approach places particular emphasis on three principles: being guided by research evidence, while not being limited by conventional consensus; respecting individual differences, rather than applying the same dietary plan to everyone; and focusing on the gut microbiome, inflammation, and long-term sustainable dietary change, rather than short-term symptom relief alone.
